Hi Everyone, today I am participating in Challenge #58 over at the Saturated Canary Challenge Blog.

The theme for Challenge #58 is:
“Untraditional Christmas Colours” so for this challenge we want to see you stay away from those reds, greens and golds of christmas and into something different!!

The digital image I used is called Molly, isn’t she cute?

I printed her out on some Copic Xpress It Blending Card stock and colored her with Copic Markers.   The designer paper is from the My Mind’s Eye – “Merry Little Christmas” 6×6 paper pad that I purchased from Michael’s.  I love these 6×6 paper pads, they are perfect for card making as the patterns are scaled down from the 12×12 scrapbooking versions.

The card base and layering paper is a piece of Black Card stock from my local copy shop. It’s a heavier weight maybe 110 lb card stock which makes for a nice sturdy card base.  I added some decorative elements by using the Leaf-Filled Flourish Die-namics from Simon Says Stamp and added some paper roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The Copic Maker colors I used are:
Skin & Parchment Roll – E50, 51 & 53, R20 on her lips and cheeks
Hair – E 42, 43 & 44
Clothes – R81, 83 & 85, YG61, 63 & 67
Background – BG10, 11 & 15, W00, 1, & 3
