An oldie, but a favorite!

This digital image from Saturated Canary is still one of my favorites. I’m sorry to say that digital images are no longer for sale from this company, but I think they still offer rubber stamps. The image was called Frizzy Jynx and I think she is so cute and fun!

I made this as a hanging 2 sided card rather than a card that opens, and hung it over the handle of the gift bag. The paper I used was from the Simple Stories “Fabulous” 6×6 paper Pack. I colored the image with Copic Markers in colors that coordinate with the background paper.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Today I have a simple card that I made for Mother’s Day, but it could be used for any occasion really.  This stamp is one from a set called Bentley Bear Thank You Collection that came with the January copy of Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine.  I love this little bear he is so cute.  I stamped the image on watercolor paper and colored it with Distress Inks.  I think this time the coloring process turned out a little better than my last attempt. Thanks for stopping by!

This was a goodbye card that I made for a co-worker when she moved away. I used this cute stamp “You Give Me Wings” by Pure Innocence from My Favorite Things.  This stamp comes with 4 sentiments – “You Give Me Wings”, “Let Your Dreams Take Flight”, “Thank You Fairy Much”, & “Spread Your Wings & Fly”. The paper is from My Minds Eye Bloom & Grow Collection.

This was a wedding card that I made for my niece. The stamp is Bella and her Fella from Stamping Bella.  I colored it with Copic Markers and added some fine glitter and ribbon.  I also used a sunburst flower punch from Martha Stewart Crafts.

This is a 5.25×5.25 card I made for my co-worker who just loves bears, quilts and cross stitching, so all of the elements ended up working well together.  The stamp is Fred Bear and the Butterfly from My Favorite Things. I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copic Markers which I’m still learning how to use.  The Designer Paper is from the 6×6 Stella and Rose paper pack by My Minds Eye. On the buttons I used Cappuccino Twine from The Twinery that I also got from MFTs.
